Surprising basically no one, it turns out the best Amazon Prime Day deal on a Surface Pro 4 isn’t on Amazon at all – it’s on the Microsoft Store. After all, why would Microsoft give Amazon a cut when it can sell the thing at a discount all on its own?
At any rate, Microsoft is chopping a whopping $150 to $350 off two choice Surface Pro 4 models, all brand new and sealed in the box. Here’s what we’re looking at and where you can nab these savings (click the links to get to the deals):
Each of these deals includes three months free of Microsoft’s Groove Music service. However, we’ve found one deal on this page that should be avoided: the 128GB Surface Pro 4 with the Intel Core i5 processor. This deal asks for the same $849 as the above linked deal, which is clearly doubly as capacious.
With that out of the way, here are some choice deals on other bits of kit from the Microsoft Store, none of which you need to get a free trial of Amazon Prime for:
The best Microsoft Store deals on Prime Day
Xbox One S with four games: Microsoft lists this bundle at $330.97 before it’s massive deal of $250 for the console, Forza Horizon 3, The Crew, Just Dance 2016 and Watch Dogs. That’s a pretty big deal.
MSI GS73VR Stealth Pro Signature Edition: This gaming laptop enjoys a steep $250 discount from $1,799 to now $1,549 for a 17.3-inch FHD mobile rig with an Nvidia GTX 1060 inside. Plus, it being Signature Edition means no bloatware!
HP Envy Curved 34: This massive all-in-one PC features a 34-inch curved display at QHD resolution backed by AMD Radeon RX 460 graphics, now at a $150 discount from $1,999 to $1,849 – not bad for a PC housing a 1TB hard drive plus 256GB SSD boot drive combo.
