I find your lack of BB-8 toys disturbing; this is the droid you're looking for; "I love BB-8", "I know", etc etc. We've heard them all before. But we have to admit that we've yet to see as good a deal on the Sphero BB-8 toy as what's on offer on Amazon Prime Day this year.
The special edition "Battle Worn" version of Sphero's BB-8 Star Wars toy is currently on sale for just £125.98 – down from £179.99. And, to sweeten the deal, that's also including the Force Band wearable, letting you direct the ball-bot around a room with the wave of a hand:
As well as perfectly mimicking The Force Awakens' droid's movements, the BB-8 toy can also be paired up with a screening of the movie, letting it react to the action on screen. Running purely on electricity, BB-8's a cheap date.
BB-8's the first in a new wave of robotic toys for Sphero, which includes the amazing Cars 3 Lightning McQueen app-controlled racer, and the chatty Spider-Man connected action figure.
