With each passing generation, the price of the self-anointed ‘flagship killer’ devices from OnePlus have had small price increases, but we’ve now had confirmation that won’t be the case for the OnePlus 5T.
TechRadar has seen confidential documentation that shows the price of the OnePlus 5T is set to stay the same in the UK.
The documents show the price of buying the phone through a business on O2's network, but the price listed is the same amount as it was for the OnePlus 5 - suggesting it will stay the same for consumers too.
We don’t know if that will be the case for the phone in other markets around the rest of the world, but it seems unlikely the company would up the price in some markets without it rising in the UK.
The document also suggests we will also see both 64GB and 128GB versions of the phone, with no hint toward a larger 256GB device.
These details have yet to be confirmed by OnePlus and a representative for the company said it was unable to comment on the price at this time.
Official details to follow
We may not know the pricing details officially until November 16 when the OnePlus 5T is announced at an event in New York.
OnePlus has already confirmed you'll be able to buy the phone from November 21, so there’s still a bit of a wait until you’ll be able to get it in your hands.
The OnePlus 5T is expected to include a new 18:9 aspect ratio display as well as two dual 20MP sensors on the rear, but little else is known about what new features the phone will bring.
We do know for certain it'll have a 3.5mm headphone jack as OnePlus CEO Pete Lau already confirmed the legacy tech in a blog post.
