Apple has released iOS 11.2 for compatible iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. The update was pushed ahead of schedule slightly due to a very serious Springboard bug. Users affected by this bug complained about their Springboard (iOS launcher) crashing and the phone rebooting when after 12:15 AM on December 2 when they received a push notification.
